About Octore

Octore is an independent nonprofit organisation based in Brussels. Founded in 2023, Octore supports work that exposes corruption connected to Russian state institutions and politically connected business networks.

Corruption linked to Russian power does not remain inside Russia. It enters Europe through finance, property and corporate structures. Octore funds the people who document how those systems are used and who can bring reliable evidence into public view.

A focused team in Brussels directs our grantmaking and strategic research. We back this internal expertise by collaborating directly with frontline investigators and legal professionals across Europe.

Octore does not stand against the Russian people, language or culture. Our mandate addresses corruption, illicit influence and abuse of power. Octore does not run election campaigns and does not replace courts or police. We support work that can withstand scrutiny.

Proximity to European institutions helps Octore place serious findings in the rooms where they can matter. It is never a reason to soften them.
